Ya''ll! What a wonderful and relaxing vacation!
We did not want to leave!
Arkansas is so beautiful and the little town we visited was just adorable. With no big chain restaurants, no cell service (literally, none at all!) and a basic Wal-Mart, it was like we travel back in time and boy was it nice.
I literally loved everything about this place, the fact that it was not touristy- at all.
It was quiet and we had it mostly to ourselves!
I could just relax and let my kids go!
I didn't worry about a thing and that's rare that this mama gets to say that.
In Arkansas there are plenty of warmer creeks that snakes love, but we swam right in the mountains and the water was COLD. I'm not gonna say you wont ever see a snake, but the locals say they love the warmer creeks and we shouldn't have to worry much here and I'm happy to report we saw 0 snakes here!
2018-2017
Look how much my babies have grown.
We arrived early and spent the morning exploring, swimming, snorkeling, and looking for crawfish!
And of course, Ryker, was our rock collector! :)
My SIL and BIL and their kids joined us and it was SO FUN having them there! We are hoping even more of our family will join us next year.
Last year on our way in to Arkansas we stopped at this little Huddle House.
Huddle House is a pancake/ waffle house and after driving all night we are so thankful they open at 5am. :)
Now back to our beautiful spot!

And just for fun-
We hung out here until we checked into our hotel and then for dinner we hit up Tommy's, it was recommended by a local!
And I'm not exaggerating when I say IT WAS THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD!
