Our Halloween Crew

Sheriff Woody-

Cinderella-

And the cutest kitty cat you have evvvvver seen!-

Last night we took the kiddos to Busters for dinner, a halloween costume contest, and a hay ride. :)

I think Rilyn was most excited of them all!

She got to wear REAL high heels and big girl jewelry!

On the way there in the car she said..."I bet everyone is going to be like...are you really Cinderella??"

"And I am going to be like, yep!"

Surf Baby Shower Invitations!

I guess I'll just quit my job and make invitations for a living since that is pretty much all I've done today. :)

I think they turned out cute! :)

{Marine Invitations} Bryce's 9th birthday

A good friend of mine needed some invitations for her son's party next month.

The birthday boy wanted the theme to be 'The Marines".

So here is the first one I made...

And here's the one with his picture...

Rilyn's Pretend Store

The other day while I was putting clothes up in C.J.'s room Rilyn came in.

"Welcome to my store!" She announced with her arms extended.

"What would you like to buy ma'am?" She then asked.

I was folding and putting up clothes and really didn't feel like pretending with her. I mean, we 'pretend play' 24/7 in this house. Seriously.

For instance, just the other day I heard her tell C.J...
"OK. Pretend like I am 16 and I go to high school."

"You not 16. You 4." He quickly informed her.

"Just pretend!!"She snapped.

"But you 4!" He argued.

THEN she ran to me and tattled because C.J. wouldn't pretend like she was 16. I explained to her that he does not understand how to pretend.

"I know! That's why I told him to just PRETEND LIKE I'm 16" She said.

Finally after many, many arguments between them (her and C.J) the new rule is that she cant pretend with him.

So I get stuck pretending with her. Yay me.
Anyway, back to the story...
She asked me again, "So what would you like to buy ma'am?"

And just as I started to explain to her that I was busy and didn't have time to pretend right now she interrupts...

"We have all kinds of boy stuff in my store." she says with her sweet store-like person pretend voice.

"We have shoes, pants, shirts and even underwear hose."

"What are underwear hose??" I asked.

"Well ma'am. " She said calmly.
"You know.. they are kind of like pantie hose but for boys. They are underwear-hose."

LOL

And the funniest part of all is that they really do exsist!

Adorable ♥

Enjoy..

Life is pretty great here in the Long House. :)

We are really enjoying have C.J. here. He is the sweetest little boy! Rilyn and him play very well together and already argue like brother and sister. :) And Raigen is just ....Raigen. ♥  She is still a mean little hussy, but we love her. :)  We are really working on sharing with her right now. We are constantly telling her "Share Raigen, Share."

And I guess its sinking in because yesterday she wanted a drink of my coke and I told her no and she replied "Share Momma, Share!" LOL

Rilyn and Raigen's Candyland birthday!!

This year  I decided to combine both Rilyn and Raigen's party together. Their birthdays are 2 months apart, but December is just not a fun month to have your birthday. Last year it was WAY too cold. And plus, what kid wouldn't love to celebrate their birthday 2 months early? :)

I also talked it over with Rilyn and we decided to let C.J share the birthday as well. Each birthday kid even got their own special little cake to blow out. We wanted him to feel included in our family and my super sweet girls didn't mind sharing their special day with him at all. :)

This years theme was Candyland! And it turned out cute! I shopped around and found the perfect shirts for them to wear that said "I love Candy" and I had fun making all the giant candy pieces and the giant candyland board! The kids had a blast and each kid got a giant swirl lolly pop to take home. Below are just some of the pictures.. enjoy!
