Celebrating baby Emma! ♥

This past weekend we took at trip to celebrate baby Emma!

My cousin has one son who is 3, named Liam, and she is pregnant with her second, a girl.

The girls and I love all things baby showers! They especially love participating in the games and helping me make baby shower gifts!

Side note: How cute are my girls?!
I scored Raigen booties at Marshalls for $16 and Rilyn's at Wal-mart for $20. Raigen's dress was from Wal-mart, too, for only $6 and I picked up Rilyn's lace tank from Family Dollar, on sale for $4. I love dressing my girls super cute and I love it even more when I find awesome deals!
#queenofcheap

I couldn't arrive to the shower without a special gift for the new big brother, Liam!
I made this shirt (that I picked up from DOLLAR TREE!) with my Cricut and I picked up the book from Ross for $3!

This isn't the best picture, but at all the showers I attend I always try and make a diaper cake. I tried to think outside the normal cake and I made this carriage out of diapers, washcloths, hair accessories, shoes, a bonnet, and a cute little poodle.

Our family is growing, BIG! We have Emma due in November, Colton due in November, and Adalynn due in December! So exciting! ♥

Bumblebee!

Yesterday Ryker and I had an impromptu trip to Wal-mart and discovered a cool set up outside with Bumbebee!

We took some pictures and it was cute to see Ryker say, 'Bye-bye yiddle  Bumblebee,"
to the giant transformer!

Hangry Roxie: UPDATE #5

Congratulations to me because I made it to Phase 2 of Jamie Eason's workout.

And I'm still alive.

Ya'll! She has now introduced us to CARDIO.

And I'm all like... what's that? Is that Spanish?

Honestly, I probably haven't done real cardio since high school.

Unless, you count driving in the car and listening to the radio.
(Bahhahaha! I had to, okay!)

True story: Up until now couponing has been my cardio. #notkidding

I use to think Leg Day was killer, but, yall..... now she is incorporating cardio on Leg Day.
Really Jamie?!?!

I feel like I should really get myself a Life-Alert Button.

So.... yeah. Cardio is hardio.

And that's pretty much all I have to say about that....

But, I do have some positive news! I am now down 16lbs!
                                                                                      (Since Aug 8th)

I am pretty excited about that and I am hoping to be able to see some sort of difference in my clothes soon. I haven't noticed a difference at all, so I am also stepping up my selfie game in hopes that I can see a difference in pictures sometime soon, too.

GOAL: I just wanna be healthy, not skinny, just healthy.

And improve my current fitness level from: TERRIBLE AND SHE DEFINETLY LOVES DONUTS.

Girl Time- Japanese Tea Party!

Nothing is better than spending a little one-on-one time with my kids.

This past weekend I joined Rilyn and attended a Japanese Tea Party for one of her bestie's birthdays!

Here we are twinning in our denim dresses! ♥

Seriously, this party was SO CUTE!

Every girl got to decorate their teacup  and a fan to take home.

Every setting had a little tray, chopsticks, a napkin folded into a Japanese flower, and a fortune cookie!

They served tea, (of course!) and a assortment of Asian style food.

So fun!

Rilyn and the girl of the party, Bayleigh!

Happy birthday Bayleigh! So glad we got to celebrate with you!

My acting gig that never happened.

When I turned the big 3-0 I few months back, I composed my very first "Dirty-Thirty Bucket List" that I am determined to complete during my thirties.

Its basically a list of things Ive always wanted to do or just things that I think would be fun that I want to do before I get old. HA!

Yesterday I was able to cross one of those things off my bucket list.

I auditioned for a community play.

Yes, like a real-life PLAY.

Its a comedy so that was the great part.

That was also the only great part about yesterday.

Let me just start by saying I was prompt, early, and completely out of my comfort zone. And things got 0% better when the others started to arrive.

I would of SWORE I was trapped in a high school theater class!

Everyone was under 20. And I'm  pretty sure they thought I was someones mom. #notkidding

Would you believe no one even asked me what classes I was taking or what my major was? #rude

I even wore my hair in my favorite Disney channel inspired hair- the half-bun! PLUS- my face was totally broke out yesterday and I NEVER have a pimple.

I thought for SURE I was looking extra youthful.

Apparently not.

There a couple of things, though, I learned from this experience that I will definitely do if I ever decided to audition again. The single most important thing was:

#1  Do a little research on the play before I decided to audition for it.

To say I was surprised would be an understatement when the director announced that there was slight nudity and that every girl in the play ended up in their panties at some point.

And that we needed to be comfortable on stage kissing.

I don't think she took me seriously when I gasped and asked if this was "50 Shades of Grey" or sometin'. I told her I  ain't about that life!!!!

The only thing I did to prepare was waste an hour there rehearsing my  "southern belle" accent. And it turns out, the director asked us to just speak in our normal tone.
#thankyoujesus

Because mine was a cross between Goofy and Dolly Parton.

I was definitely the odd ball in the group. I was the fattest. Clearly the oldest. And I am 100% sure I am the only one who left in a minivan.

Yall, I don't think my audition could of went any better.... unless she would of asked me to twerk or somethin.
